What is “Social Engineering”?

Social engineering is a kind of hacker. It is a collection of techniques used to manipulate people into performing actions or revealing secret information. They try to get personal information like user name, its password, or credit cards details by phoning or Internet.
In computer security, social engineering is a term that describes a non-technical kind of intrusion that relies heavily on often involves tricking people to break normal security procedures.
Essentially, social engineering is the human side of breaking into a corporate network.
The goals of social engineering are the same as hacking in general to identify weaknesses and gain unauthorized access to systems or information.
To protect our all information, we have to manage our own computer every time. We should not tell our own important information to others lightly.
